Braille application

Braille application is a legal requirement on all licensed pharmaceutical packaging materials within Europe. It is also increasingly used on retail, food, and cosmetic packaging materials as well as marketing materials.

We are able to create, set braille text and supply PDF proof for approval prior to production. Braille application can be achieved by standard embossing or by raised U.V. Varnishing as approved by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
Raised UV Varnishing is equally effective on heavy weight boards and medium weight material aswell.
